Founded by Maroun Khoury and George Youssef, Abou Amin began its journey in May 2024 with the opening of Farrouj Abou Amin in the heart of Zahle, Lebanon. Built around authentic Lebanese cuisine, charcoal grilled chicken, generous hospitality, and high quality ingredients, the restaurant quickly became one of the most popular dining destinations in Zahle and the Bekaa Valley.

As demand continued to grow, Farrouj Abou Amin expanded its dine-in area in September 2024, welcoming more families and guests. In June 2025, Abou Amin opened its Central Kitchen to ensure every meal is prepared with the same consistency, freshness, and quality across the brand.

The journey continued in October 2025 with the opening of Mashewe Abou Amin, located just one minute from the original restaurant. Specializing in premium Lebanese barbecue, mixed grills, and authentic charcoal grilled meats, Mashewe Abou Amin complements the original restaurant while offering its own distinctive dining experience.

In January 2026, Abou Amin was recognized as Lebanon's most ordered restaurant on Lyxa and the most ordered restaurant in the Bekaa on Gozilla for 2025, reflecting the trust and loyalty of thousands of customers across Lebanon.

To make ordering even easier, Abou Amin launched its official mobile app in June 2026, giving customers a seamless way to place delivery and pickup orders directly from their phones.

Just one month later, in July 2026, Farrouj Abou Amin completed another major expansion, doubling its dine-in area once again to welcome even more guests and meet growing demand.
